本文通過對傳世文獻和出土文獻中有關南方《詩經》記載的討論,從而發現先秦、兩漢時期南方人對《詩經》一直非常重視;由對漢代以前《詩經》傳播方式的討論,我們得出先秦時期南方主要運用口頭方式傳播《詩經》,到了漢代才出現了書於簡策的《詩經》文本;對於出土文獻和傳世文獻與今本《毛詩》差異的研究,我們從中發現先秦、兩漢時代南方《詩經》經歷了一個由基本相同到有所差異的過程,造成這種演變過程的原因主要是與春秋、戰國時代以及漢代的政治、文化背景有關。
