| 巴县 位于中国四川省东南部，环绕重庆市东南西三面。1990年人口123.35万，汉族占绝大多数。秦汉至刘宋末为巴郡江州县地， 南齐永明五年（487）析江州县地置垫江县，北周武成三年（561） 改巴县。四周高山环绕，长江横穿中部，江北为丘陵、平坝区，江南为沿江河谷丘陵区和高山槽谷区。产水稻、玉米、小麦等，是全国茶叶、蚕桑基地县之一，特产榨菜、蜜枣、红橘。地下水丰富，温泉多处。有新石器时期文化遗址 7 处，有战国时巴族墓群。巴县是川剧发祥和繁盛地之一。1994年12月巴县撤销,改设重庆市巴南区。 |
