美国旧金山恶魔岛
恶魔岛（alcatraz island）是一座方圆22英亩、岩石从生的小岛，由于曾是联邦监狱所在地，因而闻名于世。从1934年至1963年，它是美国臭名昭著的男监狱的所在地，囚禁过不少传奇式的人物。岛名意思为黑鸬鹚，它们在岛上的悬崖和岩石间沐浴着阳光。
恶魔岛以前美国联邦政府囚禁恶性重大的囚犯的地方，在这里关过的恶徒包括芝加哥「教父」卡邦（al capone）、杀人如麻却又天赋异禀，对鸟类极有研究的「鸟人」史特劳德（robert stroud）和冷血的「机关枪」杀手凯利（george kelly）等。
