Service description,requirement description and service matching are urgent problems in service discovery technology and are difficult to address because of the diversity and complexity of services and requirements as well as the heterogeneity and instability of pervasive computing environment.

This article proposes a method of requirement description based on resources to solve the problem of system requirement description in requirement analysis,and tells the difference between the traditional requirement description methods and this method.

According to requirement analysis of ASP application service platform,requirement description must be regularized for satisfying requirement of enterprise users.

This paper proposes a requirement description frame of C4ISR,and C4ISR requirement refers to three le-vels: operation requirement,user requirement and system requirement;then analyses the context of the three-level requirements,and finally introduces the design and development method of requirement description tools by this requirement description frame.

Apart from analysing the characteristics of requirement description in program mining, this paper analyses the development of description languages, proposes a UML-based requirement description language, and gives its XML description form.
