简称“APUD细胞”。指在生物化学和细胞化学上具有以下共同特性的细胞,即能够摄取胺的前身物质,脱去其羧基,并转为具有活性的胺或肽。它所产生的活性胺类物质和活性肽类物质能够发挥激素或神经介质的作用。APUD细胞不仅存在于胃、肠、胰,下丘脑、脑垂体、甲状腺、动脉体、胸腺、肺、肾上腺髓质、交感神经节等部位也同样有APUD细胞,构成APUD系统。
