The Market Development Status and Strategy Analysis of Chinese Track and Field Events

The article studies athletics competition products connotation,classification,characteristics,quality and function,points out that athletics competition results contingency is little,its spectating effect and spirit instigation are low,and competition time is long,etc.

Based on the methods of literature material,expert interviews, questionnaire investigation and statistical treatment,the thesis choosen the high risk happenning area-"arena" in China\'s large-scale track and field events as the focus of the study.

Through statistic of track and field competition in 2004 Athens Olympic Games, the writer finds: the distribution of medals has an obviously characteristic of region and items; Russia has promoted of its strength; women s achievement increased fast; China made a historical breach but the whole level is still low.

With the application of electrical net information technology in track and field competition especially in timing,traditional manpower timing and outdated film camera timing system have been replaced by high intelligent,digital electronic timing net system.
