      元杂剧作品集,共收杂剧作品30种。原书无名,清藏书家黄丕烈题名为《元刻古今杂剧》,王国维改题今名,世所通用。原书字体大小不一,版式也有差异,剧名或冠以"大都新编",或用"古杭新刊"。一说是元末书商汇集各地较流行的剧本,合并刊印的集子,一说黄丕烈汇集成书。其中尚有其他存本可见的16种,无其他存本而仅见于此书的孤本14种。所收关汉卿作品4种,其中3种不见于其他存本,尤称珍贵。
  
  《元刊杂剧三十种》是现存最早的元杂剧作品集,能使人们看到元杂剧的本来面貌。与明代其他刊本相比较,曲词具有更浓郁的生活气息和时代气氛。如《冤家债主》第2折,《范张鸡黍》第4折的曲词,更能表现出当时人民对黑暗统治的强烈愤懑。此外,在结构、情节、语言等方面,与同一剧目的明代诸刊本比较,也有许多不同之处。它是研究元杂剧的珍贵文献。但此书校勘粗疏,大部分作品只有唱词,没有科白,或只有科介提示。所用字体有俗体、异体。《任风子》、《紫云庭》、《追韩信》各缺一页,《范张鸡黍》则有残损。此书现存有原刊本,原刊影印本收入《古本戏曲丛刊》第4集。另有徐沁君校注排印本《元刊杂剧三十种》(1980)。
