迁移的关系理论(relation theory oftransfer)格式塔心理学家提出的关于迁移的一种理论。这一理论认为，学习之所以能产生迁移，不在于共同要素的存在，而在于对整个情境的顿悟，即学习者对学习情境中的关系的领悟。德国格式塔心理学派创始人之一苛勒(Kohler，W.)曾用小鸡和3岁儿童在两张深浅不同的灰色纸上寻找食物的实验来证明这一理论。首先，他把深灰色的A纸和浅灰色的B纸放在地上，经过练习使被试学会只在深灰色纸上取食，而不到浅灰色纸上取食。然后，他把B纸拿开，换上比A纸和B纸更深的C纸，再让被试去取食。结果表明，小鸡对A纸做出取食反应为30%，而对C纸做出取食反应为70%;3岁儿童则100%地对C纸做出取食反应。苛勒根据这一结果认为，被试是依据整个情境，即对情境中深色与浅色的关系做出反应，而不是依据A纸与B纸的单个刺激做出反应。在练习中，被试学会的是趋深避浅的反应。因此，B纸换成C纸后，被试仍然基于趋深避浅的习惯，在C纸上取食而不到A纸上取食。所以，通过训练领悟关系是获得迁移的真正手段。实际上，关系理论与贾德的概括化理论是相通的，因为学习者能否领悟情境中的关系是以其概括能力为转移，而学习者越能觉察事物间的关系则概括化的可能性也越大。 (成立夫撰匾巫国审)
