Via studying hydrothermal reaction of high-MgO low-alkalinity steel slag, the results indicate, high-MgO low-alkalinity steel slag formed Mg-rich calcium silicate which has cementitious characteristics hydrates under hydrothermal condition, so we can conclude it has hydrothermal activity.
