昙无谶(385~433) 中国东晋僧人。中印度人。6岁父亡,从达摩耶舍门下诵咒读经。初学小乘,见《涅槃经》后改习大乘。20岁能诵大小乘经200余万言,善咒术。后往罽宾、龟兹,东经鄯善到敦煌,北凉王接待甚厚。学汉语3年,北凉玄始三年(414)起,译《涅槃经》、《大集经》、《大云经》、《菩萨戒本》等,至玄始十五年译经19部131卷。 |
