| 釉下五彩瓷 将彩色纹样描绘在素烧或未烧的坯胎上，上覆透明釉，高温烧成的瓷器。中国湖南省醴陵地区出产的传统名瓷之一。釉下五彩瓷始创于清朝末年，是在唐代长沙铜官窑的高温釉下彩绘装饰艺术、宋代磁州窑的黑褐彩绘，以及元、明、清的青花、釉里红的基础上发展和创制出的多色釉下彩绘瓷。以其独到的工艺和特点受到世人瞩目。后因国内战事频繁，生产釉下五彩瓷的企业相继倒闭，技艺逐渐失传。1955年醴陵陶瓷研究所成立，使釉下五彩瓷得以恢复和发展，并运用于北京工人体育馆、军事博物馆、民族文化宫、人民大会堂等建筑中，还远销国外。釉下五彩瓷除具有色彩鲜艳、晶莹润泽，耐酸碱，耐磨损，不变色，无铅镉溶出等优点外，还具有色料品种繁多、填色技法丰富、线条装饰独特、制作工艺多样等特点。 |
