| 托勒密地心体系 Ptolemy’s geocentric system 公元2世纪托勒密在所著《天文学大成》中提出的宇宙体系。这一体系的要点是：①地球静止不动地居于宇宙的中心。②每个行星和月亮都在“本轮”上匀速转动，而本轮中心又在“均轮”上绕地球转动，只有太阳直接在均轮上绕地球转动。地球与各个均轮的圆心有一定距离的偏离。③水星和金星的本轮中心始终位于日地连线上，这一连线一年绕地球转一周；火星、木星、土星到它们各自的本轮中心的直线始终与日地连线平行，它们每年绕各自的本轮中心转一周。④所有恒星 都位于最外的固体球壳“恒星天”之上，并随“恒星天”每天绕地球转一周；日、月、行星也随“恒星天”绕地球作周日运动。托勒密体系是对天体运动进行理论概括的一种尝试，在当时有一定的进步意义，但在欧洲中世纪后期，该体系被教会所利用，成为上帝创世说的理论支柱。16世纪哥白尼日心体系诞生后，日益得到许多天文观测事实的支持，托勒密地心体系逐渐被摒弃。 |
