市场利率在某一时点仁.金融亩场卜由借贷资金的供求关系决定的利息率。狭义的高层利率指不通过银行的直接融资市场上的利率水平。市场利率与银行利率相比，具有以下特点:①波动幅度较大并与经济周期密切相关。如在产业周期的不同阶段，市场利率呈周期性升降趋势。②波动频繁。它随市场上资金供求状况而随时变动。③具有地区性特征。一般经济较发达地区的利率比经济不发达地区的利率要高。在中国，市场利率指直接融资市场上的利率水平，主要是指民间借贷市场的利率。
