It shows that the shear resistance of the beam strengthened by rivets anchoring steel plate is higher;that failure form of the beam strengthened by steel plate anchored with rivets is ductile;the beam strengthened by bond steel is brittle;that the diagonal section cracks.

In this paper, a new strengthening technique, strengthening by steel plate anchored with rivets, was introduced, in which the flexural properties were studied about the four reinforced concrete beams strengthened by steel plate anchored with rivets, one steel-bonded reinforcement beam, and one un-strengthened beam.
