性质:又称休眠素(dormin)。从幼期棉桃中分离得到的一种具有倍半萜结构的植物激素。天然产的为(+)-2-顺,4-反-脱落酸,存在于悬铃木、白桦、玫瑰叶中,以及圆白菜、马铃薯、柠檬、鳄梨中。无色结晶,分子量264.31。熔点160~161℃,120℃升华。溶于碳酸氢钠水溶液、氯仿、丙酮、乙酸乙酯和乙醚,微溶于苯和水。人工合成的为外消旋体,熔点188~190℃。是一种重要的植物生长激素,其浓度达0.01μg时,有加速棉花落叶的活性。
