The method of improving image spatial resolution of the optical instruments with linear sensors in the three-axis body-stabilized platform was proposed by changing the sensors relative positions as well as increasing the over-sampling ratio in some degrees.

The effect of sampling step on the resolution of ultrasonic C-scan image was studied, and an edge adaptive image interpolation method based on the local covariance feature was presented to improve the C-scan image resolution.

In view of the application of onboard video image in the battle field,the special qualification to image resolution and frame rate is analyzed as onboard image is compressed.
