| 盲文 braille 针对盲人眼不能看的特点而设计的一种由凸点显示、供手指摸识的文字体系。又称盲字。这种文字体系是在1824年由法国的盲人L.布莱尔发明，后得到国际公认，并以布莱尔的名字命名。布莱尔盲文由63个编码字符组成，每一个字符由1～6个突起的点儿安排在一个有6个点位的长方形里 。为了确认63个不同的点式或盲文字符，数点位时是左起自上而下1—2—3，然后右起自上而下4—5—6。这些凸起在厚纸上的行行盲文，可以用手指轻轻摸读。《布莱尔字符表》可以表明每个字符的构成及它的最简单的意义。手写盲文则首先要备一个金属或塑料制成的盲文字板和专用的椎笔。把纸放在字板中间，用铁笔头把纸压到下层板上的小窝里或成凸点，或成浮雕状，按布莱尔字符从右向左写；把纸翻过来，点就朝上，从左往右读。布莱尔盲文也可用特制的机器造出。中国于1953年公布的新盲字，属拼音制，借鉴了布莱尔浮雕六点制。 |
