古文化街与天后宫为"津门故里"，位于南开区，全长580米，为仿清式建筑。街内有近百家店铺，主要经营古旧书籍、古玩玉器、传统手工艺制品、民俗用品等，天津民间艺术的杨柳青年画、泥人张彩塑、魏记风筝等都在这里设有专店。天后宫俗称娘娘宫，坐落古文化街中心，始建于元代(1326年)，最初为船工祭祀海神天潜、举行酬神演出及聚会娱乐的场所，现辟为天津民俗博物馆。
