补充资料：《保护字型及其国际注册维也纳协定》
关于保护印刷字型的国际协定，简称《维也纳字型协定》。1973年由法国、德意志联邦共和国、匈牙利、意大利、列支敦士登、卢森堡、荷兰、圣马力诺、瑞士、英国、南斯拉夫等11个国家签署。协定所称的字型，是指印刷出版文字作品所使用的印刷字体,包括字、字母、数字以及标点符号和科学符号等。协定要求各参加国通过国家特别注册、工业设计注册或版权法，对一切新颖的、有独创性的字型设计给予保护，并给其他缔约国国民发明的字型以与本国国民相同的保护。协定规定，字型的设计者或字型设计权利的所有者有权禁止他人擅自仿制和复制其字型，有权禁止他人擅自销售或进口未经许可的字型复制品。字型设计权利的保护期不少于15年。协定还规定建立国际注册制度，通过协定签字国主管当局将各国的字型在国际注册所登记。协定的签定有利于扩大知识产权国际保护的范围，有利于保护字型设计者的权益和这一古老艺术形式的发展创新。 由于协定须经5个国家批准方能生效，到1988年1月1日，仅有两个国家送交了批准书，因此协定尚未生效。协定附加议定书将字型保护期延长至不少于25年，亦因仅有两国批准而未生效。协定将由总部设在日内瓦的世界知识产权组织负责实施管理。
