| 攀枝花市 中国西南最大的钢铁工业基地。位于四川省西南边陲，与云南省接壤。辖米易、盐边2县。1990年人口87.88万。汉族为主，有彝、傈僳、纳西等少数民族。两宋均属大理国。清初置盐井卫 ，雍正六年（1728）置盐源县。1965年成立攀枝花特区党委，并设立渡口市。1981年渡口市改名攀枝花市。处青藏高原东南缘，云贵高原北部，为深切割的侵蚀剥蚀中山丘陵河谷。主要河流为金沙江、雅砻江和安宁河，均属金沙江水系。属亚热带半干旱型气候，年均温19.1～21℃，年降水量700～1100毫米。四季不分明，相对温度高，昼夜温差大，午后多季风。矿产资源有铁、煤、石灰石、白云石、粘土矿等。水力资源也很丰富。已建立了以钢铁为主的重工业体系，有大型钢铁生产联合企业攀枝花钢铁公司，有冶金、电力、煤炭、炼焦、化工、机械、建材等部门。有多种森林树种分布，产香芭蕉、香木瓜、柑橘、早西瓜等。主要特产有金江牌啤酒、精高粱饴、木瓜酱。主要名胜有同德革命烈士陵园、金沙江钢桥等。
