auditory masking

  听觉掩蔽(aud,tory masking)两个声音同时呈现,对1个声音的听觉因受另一个声音的影响而减弱的现象。声音的掩蔽有二种:一种是纯音对纯音的掩蔽。实验研究表明:(l)掩蔽音的强度提高,掩蔽效果随之增加并掩蔽范围也加大。(2)掩蔽音对于频率相近的被掩蔽音的掩蔽效果最大,但此时要防止拍音的产生,若产生拍音,反而会降低掩蔽效果。(3少低频对高频的掩蔽效果大于高频对低频的掩蔽效果。另一种是噪音对纯音的掩蔽。一般掩蔽音采用白噪音。’实验研究表明:当噪音强度低时,各种纯音的闽限差别大,当噪音强度提高时,各种纯音的阐限差别缩小。另外,白噪音中以被掩蔽的纯音频率为中心的一个窄带,掩蔽效果最好。第王种是噪音或纯音对语言的掩蔽。总之,噪音和纯音都可对语言造成干扰,使语言变得不可理解。实验研究表明:噪音比纯音掩蔽语言的效果更大,噪音的强度愈大,掩蔽效果愈明显 (金志成撰林仲贤审)
