In this paper we study, by computer simulating, the relationship betweenthe pressure and the velocity of wave propagation in a granular medium, as well as the effect ofthe frictions between particles on the propagation velocity.

Using finite difference method, we carry out the numerical calculation of the electric field induced by a low frequency magnetic field in a two dimensional stratified biological medium.
