毛泽东发动整风运动最初的主要目的是为了吸取苏联的教训 ,“扩大民主” ,调整共产党与民主党派及党外知识分子的关系 ,克服和纠正中共党内的“三风” ,虽然不是为了“引蛇出洞” ,但他确有如果出现错误的反动的东西 ,就必须予以“反驳”和“打击”的思想准备 ,因此 ,后来从整风转向反右 ,并不是毛泽东的“突发奇想” ,而是有一定思想基础的。
