性质:是含有共同母核——6-氨基青霉烷酸的不同侧链衍生物。是一类重要的β-内酰胺抗生素。各型青霉素俗名配尼西林的共同结构是:R为青霉素分子的侧链。R不同即得各型不同的青霉素。R=R'=H时即为6-氨基青霉烷酸。R'不同即得各型青霉素的各种盐类或酯类衍生物。种类很多,常用的有青霉素G,青霉素V和抗葡萄球菌青霉素(如苯唑西林)、氨苄西林类、抗假单孢菌素,以及美西林、甲氧西林等。苄青霉素可制成各种有独特疗效的盐类和酯类,如青霉素普鲁卡因和二苄乙二胺苄青霉素(俗称长效西林)有长效。各种青霉素在临床上有独特的用途,它们对革兰阳性细菌如葡萄球菌、链球菌、肺炎球菌、脑膜炎球菌、淋球菌等有强力抑制作用。主治肺炎、大叶性肺炎、肺脓疡、气管炎、支气管炎、脑膜炎、中耳炎、丹毒、骨髓炎、关节炎、腹膜炎、心内膜炎、败血症、淋病、猩红热、气坏疽、产褥热、梅毒、创伤等。除由培养液中提取外,也可由不同侧链为前体进行生物合成,或由6-氨基青霉烷酸与不同侧链进行半合成而制得。
