在中国河南省巩县铁生沟汉代冶铁遗址出土的铁??(T4∶1)。为双合范铸制，断面呈长方形,顶端有长方形直銎,可按柄,??身作楔状,长20.6厘米，宽6.8厘米，銎深6.5 厘米。经鉴定是白心韧性铸铁，但其中石墨全部球化，球墨直径＜50微米,分布不均匀,其结构完整。球状石墨是白口铁在退火处理中形成的。
