【曲线相关】亦称“非线性相关”。在两个变量单相关场合，其散点图散布于某条曲线附近，进行回归分析时宜用非线性回归模型代表其间的相关关系。测度曲线相关密切程度的指标，叫相关指数。相关指数的平方，仍然等于回归总变差占被解释变量总变差的比率。
