又称“热带冬干气候”。分布在纬度5°～10°到15°～20°的内陆到大陆西岸一带。全年气温较高，最冷月平均气温一般在18°c以上。全年降水1500毫米左右，迎风地区达2000～3000毫米以上。有旱季和雨季之分，冬季降水稀少，夏季降水丰沛。主要出现在亚洲的印度半岛、中南半岛、菲律宾群岛以及中国台湾岛南部、海南岛等地。
