郑介夫,名侠,福州福清人也。少刻苦好学。治平中擢进士甲科,调光州司法参军,秩满入都监安上门。熙宁六七年间,两河关辅,大旱蝗,民又苦新法,流亡载路。介夫绘所见为图,极陈新法之害。且曰:“陛下行臣之言,十日不雨,乞斩臣以正欺君之罪”假称密急发马递上之银台司,神宗览图及奏大感动,明日罢新法十八事,下责躬诏。越三日,果大雨。王安石罢相,吕惠卿继之行新法如故。介夫复上书极言之,惠卿以为谤讪朝政斥为民,安置英州,居大庆山,英之子弟归其德,兴于学者甚众,作《大庆居士》序曰:“居士本儒,以孔氏为宗,得老氏之说以明,又得释氏,而后大明三氏之外百家传记,历代史载至于医方小说,其于民物有补毫发,无不留意此其学也。以为父子、君臣、夫妇、长幼、朋友之相与譬之,直一蝉之翼合,上下四方通为一物,亦若是而巳矣!此其识也。以为吾之是非毁誉与只鬼祸福朝廷,黜陟相表里也。故虽对妻拏,莫敢溢人美恶,幽闇阒寂,莫或自欺。上不谀公卿,下不原乡党,水火可蹈而议论不可回,此其守也。惟君为尧舜,民复太古,一饭一衣,四方万里,同饱暖也。一忧一乐,四方万里同欣戚也。夐古之上,无穷之下,大之天地,细至鳞介,犹若是也。而功无尸、物无府,此其志也。其视先后古今等、人与我等、我与人等、众生与佛等、佛与众生等无一物,无取无舍,非即非离。以大清净圆摄为我住止。”是曰“居士”哲宗即位,复官归乡里不出。元符元年,以前事再窜英州。徽宗即位,赦归,荐起为泉州教授,秩满归。又号“一拂居士”。宣和元年,梦客有称铁冠道士遗之诗,视之乃苏子瞻诗也,寤而叹曰:“吾将逝矣!”临终作诗曰:“似此平生只藉天,胜如过鸟在云烟,如今身畔无一物,羸得虚堂一枕眠。”授其孙而卒。年七十九,嘉定中谥曰介。(西塘集宋史)
