补充资料：赫兹电磁波实验
赫兹所做的证明电磁波存在的实验。1888年赫兹用如图所示装置验证了麦克斯韦预言电磁波存在的理论。当感应线圈1中电流突然中断时，在金属杆a、b的间隙产生电火花，a与b成一振荡电偶极子，它发出电磁波，并在谐振电偶极子3中产生感应电压，使其间隙中也产生电火花。由此证明了电磁波的存在。
