子昙和尚，中国宋代台州黄氏。广庆寺出家，身长七尺，眼光射人。十七岁游方，参于石楼、石帆，嗣石帆法。一二七九年三十岁东渡（日本），受到圣一、兰溪极大相待。第二年返回元朝（中国），随从环溪。一二八五年住台州紫岩寺，移住潭州天柱，出而漫游，江湖名刹举为第一座。一二九九年五十一岁与一山，再而东渡（日本），住建长。一三〇六年一月二十八日致书于执政真时，作告别辞，后事嘱于门人。遗偈云：‘来无所来，去无所去；皎日丽天，消风匝地。’掷笔而逝，世寿五十八岁。
