According to the damage caused by Stipa needle to the grassland animal husbandry, biological measures were taken to control occurrence and damage of Stipa needle.

This paper deals with Professor Shao Mingxi s practical experience and characteristics in using elongated needles to relieve pain and his spirit of seeking substantial result in the clinical practice.

The result showed that the mineral oil content of soil was negatively correlated with microorganism contents,the mineral oil accumulation degree of stipa was more than that of Leymus chinensis and the Fe and Zn accumulation degree of Leymus.
