Dexing Copper Mine Middle School was established in August, 1996, simply including three junior classes.
德兴铜矿中学由1966年8月成立时的3个初中教学班，经过多年发展已成为江铜集团规模最大、教学质量最好的子弟学校。

位于江西省德兴县。唐、宋年间已经开采，用湿法炼铜(见胆铜法)。1956年开始普查勘探，发现有两个大型斑岩铜矿区，并伴生有钼、硫、金、银等元素。1958年5月成立德兴铜矿。1965年建成北山矿,地下开采;1971年建成南山矿，露天开采。德兴铜矿具有储量大、矿体埋藏深、矿石可选性好、综合利用组分多等特点，是中国重点铜矿之一。
