为目前磺胺类药物中抗菌最强而且较常用的复方制剂，除用于上述抗感染外，还可用于肠道感染、心内膜炎、急慢性支气管炎、淋病、骨髓炎、婴儿腹泻、旅游者腹泻、败血症等的治疗；也用于治疗肺囊虫病，常与戊烷米合用。
用量用法：
口服：１～２片／次，２～３次／日，首剂加倍。６～１２岁小儿每次半片～１片，２～６岁小儿每次１／４～１／２片，均每日２次。肌注：２ｍｌ／次，２次／日。
注意事项： 易出现结晶尿、血尿、蛋白尿、尿少、腰痛等。肝功能不全患者不宜用复方新诺明片。
规格：片剂：含ＳＭＺ０．４ｇ、ＴＭＰ０．０８ｇ；针剂：２ｍｌ（含ＳＭＺ０．４ｇ、ＴＭＰ０．０８ｇ）。
