意大利画家。1495年3月8日生于佛罗伦萨，1540年11月14日卒于法国巴黎。早年拜A.del萨尔托和J.da蓬托尔莫为师，追随蓬托尔莫标新立异的画风，成为样式主义画家。1523～1527年间在罗马工作。1530年后，应法国国王之邀赴法国工作，直至逝世。罗索的艺术也受到米开朗琪罗很大影响，着重人体表现，但姿态神情务求奇诡，画幅光色怪异，布局虚实错乱，有意背弃盛期文艺复兴的古典风格。代表作《摩西与杰特罗之女》（约1523），以前景主要篇幅刻画摩西击败的几位强徒，虽仿效米开朗琪罗，却无其雄伟坚实之感。罗索在室内装饰方面有很高造诣，善于以浮雕、图画、人像及花纹图案组成综合性的装饰。到法国后主持枫丹白露宫的装修，宫内大厅廊的装修是其杰作，对法国16世纪美术影响很大。
