【来源】
为胡颓子科植物白绿叶的叶。
【植物形态】
白绿叶 常绿灌木，高2～3米。根木质，外皮灰褐色，内部白色。老枝暗灰褐色，有长刺，幼枝淡褐色。有锈色鳞片。单叶互生，革质，长椭圆形，长2～7厘米，宽0.6～0.5厘米，上面深绿色，有光泽，下面银灰色，有锈色鳞片，故称"白绿叶"。花白色，常1～4朵生于叶腋，花被筒钟状，花梗下垂，各部均有锈色鳞片。核果长椭圆形，长约1厘米，被锈色鳞片，熟时淡红色。 生于山坡、路旁、灌木丛中。

全年可采。晒干。
【性味】
酸，平。
【功用主治】
利尿排石，止咳定喘，行气止痛。治慢性肾炎、肾结石、胃痛、慢性支气管炎、支气管哮喘。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，2～3钱。
