eaod一fongmu liyong草地放牧利用(脚ing utilization of卿sland)以放牧的方式利用草地。放牧利用草地首先要确定适宜的利用率及利用时间。其次要选择合理的放牧制度。确定合适的利用率,需要经过长期的反复实验与生产实践。一般情况下,中国通常采用的草地利用率为65%~70%左右,美国为50%,加拿大为55%,前苏联为55%~60%。世界上许多国家都对放牧时期有严格的要求。根据草地牧草营养动态规律,早春牧草萌发后半个月和晚秋枯黄前一个月为“忌牧期”,放牧过早或过迟都对草地产生危害,不利于家畜健康。过早利用会导致牧草贮藏养分耗竭,严重影响再生和产草量,家畜体能大量消耗,使之更加虚弱。放牧过迟,则会使牧草变得粗老,适口性和消化率降低。以禾本科为主的草地,放牧开始不迟于拔节期,草高约5~7厘米;以豆科和杂类草为主的草地,在分枝开始时即可放牧,草高约5、10厘米;以莎草科为主的草地,如果土壤条件允许,可提前到分孽后期。 放牧制度以间断放牧优于连续放牧。间断放牧又多采用划区轮牧的方式,它可以减少牧草浪费、节省草地面积、提高产草量和品质、防止寄生蠕虫病的传播等。 草地放牧利用是最经济有效的饲养方式,还可促进家畜健康。合理放牧利用草地可促进牧草分孽,家畜粪便的均匀分布,增加土壤肥力,家畜得到运动锻炼,强健体质,提高其生活力和生产力(参见彩图插页第55页)。(樊奋成)
