The result showed: Using Si fertilizer at maize can promote leaf grow and improve constitution of leaf system, accelerate development of stems and strengthen the resistance to lodging, impel aerial root occur and enhance its absorbing capacity, promote the ear growth and raise number of grains, raise accumulated dry matter after spinning etc, obviously improve quality of population.

The results were the following:Si fertilizer can significantly increase rice yield by significantly increasing of 1 000 grain weight,effective ears,seeds of per ear and solid seed percent ?The regression equation of Si fertilizer to yield is y=6953.

However,the information on the relationship between Si fertilizer application and the availability of soil N was little.
