貉 Nyctereutes procyonoides;raccoon-dog 食肉目犬科的一种。中等体型,外形似狐,但较肥胖,体长50~65厘米,尾长25厘米左右,体重4~6千克;吻尖,耳短圆,面颊生有长毛;四肢和尾较短,尾毛长而蓬松;体背和体侧毛均为浅黄褐色或棕黄色,背毛尖端黑色,吻部棕灰色,两颊和眼周的毛为黑褐色,从正面看为八字形黑褐斑纹,腹毛浅棕色,四肢浅黑色,尾末端近黑色。貉的毛色因地区和季节不同而有差异。分布于西伯利亚、朝鲜、日本和中国。在中国分布十分广泛。 貉生境颇广,穴居。白天在洞内睡眠,夜间外出觅食,行动缓慢。主要以鱼、虾、蛇、蟹、小型啮齿类、鸟类及鸟卵等为食,也吃植物性食物如浆果、真菌、谷物等。北方貉在冬季有蛰眠习性,但与真正的冬眠不同,呈昏睡状态,代谢活动并不停止。天敌有狼和猞猁等。每年3月间交配,一雄配多雌,5~6月间产仔,每胎4~8只,多者达10多只,幼兽生长很快,当年秋天即可独立生活。 |
