| 伊宁市 位于中国新疆维吾尔自治区西缘，伊犁河北岸。面积110平方千米。1990年人口26.1万。民族有维吾尔、汉、回、哈萨克、乌孜别克、俄罗斯、锡伯等。1952年由伊宁县析置伊宁市。为伊犁哈萨克自治州首府。市处于伊犁河谷中部。北部为山前平原，市内多河渠。属温带大陆半干旱气候，年均温5.2℃，年均降水量300毫米。工业主要有纺织、电力、煤炭、毛纺、皮革、乳品加工、酿酒、灯泡、印刷等。农作物有蔬菜、小麦、水稻、燕麦、豆类、油菜、向日葵、啤酒花等。果品中以苹果为主，其产量占新疆苹果产量的1／3。畜牧业以饲养牛、马、羊为主。有干线和支线公路与周围城市或市属城镇相通，是物资商品的集散地。古迹有金顶寺遗址、拜吐拉大寺、磨河旧城遗址等。 |
