Based on the detailed investigation of the Majiagou landslide in the Three Gorges Reservoir of Changjiang River, this paper expatiates on the characters and the genetic mechanism of these geologic bodies, and calculates the stabilities of the landslide to the main dangerous landslides under different loads by use of the imbalance thrust force method(ITFM), evaluating the stabilities of them.
