极点心理状态(m ental state of exhaustivePoint)运动员在极点状态时的心理状态。它是运动员在长时间、大强度、周期性运动中，因能量消耗过大，物质能量未得到及时补充，酸性物质不能及时排除，机体内环境被破坏，致使中枢神经系统发生配合失调和运动性机能失调的暂时性状态。此时，心理状态表现为:意识过程强度下降，注意稳定性与分配能力降低，注意范围狭窄:知觉清晰性下降，出现错觉，思维、记忆减弱;反应速度减慢、错误反应次数增加;由于机体不适感(呼吸困难、气喘、胸闷、头晕)使其产生不愉快甚至痛苦的情绪体验;运动积极性下降，希望降低速度、停止运动或退出运动现场。有恐惧、惶惑不安、缺乏信心、意志消沉等的表现。“极点”可通过意志努力来克服。有意识地调整呼吸及运动速度，决心坚持到底，“极点”即可解除而转入“第二次呼吸”状态。 (刘淑慈撰谢三才审)
