低温泵（cryopump）
用低温表面冷凝气体以达到抽气目的的泵称为低温泵。空气是由多种气体混合的混合气体，各组分都有它与温度对应的饱和蒸气压。当温度降到20K时，除了氖、氢、氦三种组分外其他组分的饱和蒸气压都降到10-10托以下，这时可获得1.2×10-2托的真空。温度降到4.2K时，只剩下氦未冷凝，真空度可达5×10-5托。它可获得没有油气污染的洁净的真空空间。由于泵的冷表面可以直接放入需抽真空的空间，甚至是真空空间的一个组成部分，所以它不需用管道连接，冷凝板的面积可做得很大，具有很大的抽气速率，是一般的扩散泵难以达到的。
