保加利亚作曲家、指挥家。1882年5月6日生于普罗夫迪夫,1931年11月17日卒于意大利的布雷西亚。早年在布加勒斯特和意大利学习音乐,从师P.马斯卡尼。1903年起在军乐团担任指挥,并从事创作。阿塔纳索夫的创作领域主要是歌剧。他的歌剧常常采用保加利亚人民解放斗争的题材,音乐风格质朴,有浓厚的保加利亚民间音乐色彩。他创作了 6部歌剧,其中有《博里斯拉夫》(1911)、《荒芜了的磨坊》(1922)、《花朵》(1924)、《阿尔采克》(1930)等。此外,阿塔纳索夫还创作了保加利亚第 1部轻歌剧《正人君子》(1917)以及《痛苦的教师》等4部儿童小歌剧。
