| 下关 在中国江苏省南京市西北部，面临长江，与浦口隔江相望，为南京市水陆交通枢纽。明代名龙江关，因居上关（今上河新镇）下游，清代改名下关。1842年中英鸦片战争时，英军进迫下关，胁迫清政府签订《南京条约》。1858年辟为商埠。1909年沪宁铁路建成后设南京站于此(现为南京西站)，又在江边建成火车轮渡码头和江轮客货码头多座，下关成为长江航运和铁路运输枢纽。1968年10月1日下关与浦口间南京长江铁路桥通车，1969年元旦公路桥通车。建有渡江胜利纪念碑。 |
