团仓石位于贵州黄平县城东３０公里的“黄飘大捷遗址”路旁。石高约２０米，石围约１５米，上小下大，圆如层塔，有楞节如钢鞭，顶上翠树，经冬犹绿，远望若危阁矗于山巅。
清同治八年，清军一点八万余人过此石下，被张秀眉领导的苗族起义军伏击，全军覆灭。朝廷震惊。苗族人民把团仓石当作胜利的象征。据苗族民间传说，清军被伏击时，天昏地暗，在慌乱中以为团仓石是神兵，执戈为苗军助战，遂魂不附体，不战自溃，自相践踏和跌岩而死者不计其数。
