  福建泉州清净寺建于南宋绍兴元年(公元1131年),元至正间(公元1341~1370年)重建。

  寺门在南,门宽4.5米,高20米,由青绿色石砌成。门楣作葱式尖拱三重,高度自外向内递减。门上建堞垛及平台,原有塔已毁。

  礼拜殿在门内西侧,正面向东,面阔五间,进深四间。东墙辟门,西墙设龛,南墙开方窗六孔,墙壁全由花岗石砌。原来屋顶全毁。

  这寺的平面布局和门、墙式样都保存了较多的外来影响。
