Mazhuangshan large-scale gold deposit, which was formed in the volcanic system of Paleozoic island arc, is closely related to Late Carboniferous medium-acid volcanic rocks and subvolcanic rocks in genesis.

Located geographically in the border of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Gansu Province and geologically in the juncture of the Siberian, T arim, Kazakhstan and Sino Korean palaeoplate, the Mazhuangshan paleovolcanic ap paratus is a typical ore control one in eastern Xinjiang.
