For evaluating the capacity for inducing anti-hCG antibody response and the safety,six adult female Rhesus monkeys were immunized with the first generation of Chinese-mede hCG contraceptive vaccine which contained 500 μg of β-hCG-TT immunogen composed of β-hCG conjugated to tetanus toxoid (TT) in a molecular ratio of 6∶1 adsorbed on aluminum hydroxide.
结果显示疫苗能在实验猴诱发抗ｈＣＧ抗体，但抗体滴度较低（峰滴度为１４０００），持续时间较短，加入Ｆｒｅｕｎｄ’ｓ佐剂免疫能显著增强动物的抗体反应（峰滴度可达１６４０００），免疫猴对强化免疫有较好的记忆反应。
