山东省重点文物保护单位。位于太平角汇泉岬拱卫左右，湛山、太平山屏列于北部，占地150万平方米。因有八条以中国古代著名关隘命名的待街道（山海关、嘉峪关、武胜关、宁武关、居庸关、韶关、紫荆关、正阳关），故称“八大关”，实另有函谷关、临淮关两街。该地地势起伏，花木葱茏，空气清新，环境幽雅，有近百幢造型迥异的西式别墅及别致精巧的庭院绿地、花木繁茂的街道，是中外闻名的度假疗养胜地和风景游览区。
八大关景区东起太平角，西至汇泉角，北到岳阳路，南至大海边，分为八大关别墅区、太平角旅游度假区、太平角、汇泉角，岳阳路休养疗养区五部分。自20世纪20年代到30年代景区开发建设以来，这里一直是青岛的黄金宝地。百年来，国内许多政治家、名人到过这里，为八大关增添了许多迷人色彩，留下许多名人轶闻。
