迟发性神经毒性实验
用来鉴定有机磷农药是否具有迟发性神经毒作用的一种实验方法。实验方法常用六个以上的母鸡或公鸡。设阳性对照组、阴性对照组及不同剂量给药组。对阳性对照组及给药组的鸡预先肌肉注射硫酸阿托品lOmg／kg或解磷定等药物以防止对胆碱酯酶的不可逆抑制。10～15分钟后在翅膀下注射待测农药。给药组的剂量上限为最大耐受量。下限为略小于可能出现运动失调的阈剂量。一般为一次给药，也可取一个或两个给药组连续给药5～6天。每天观察并记录鸡的站立和走动姿势。对雄鸡还要注意鸡冠的变化和啼·叫情况。如某农药具有迟发性神经毒性，一般在给药后第二周即出现运动失调症状。从给药起观察21或23天，少数未出现症状的动物还可连续观察3～4周。观察期满，取小脑、脊髓、坐骨神经作病理学检查。根据运动失调程度是否可逆、神经病理学变化以及有无作用、剂量大小等指标，评价实验结果。
